Pin-pulling rescue puzzles in the ads, match-3 in the game
What the ads showed. Austin the butler stuck in a flooding bathroom or a filling tower, saved by pulling pins in the right order.
What the game is. A match-3 puzzle with a mansion renovation meta layer.
Status. The UK Advertising Standards Authority upheld complaints on 30 September 2020 and ruled the ads must not appear again in that form. The ASA noted that players had to work through a large amount of differently styled content before reaching the advertised gameplay, and that an on-screen disclaimer did not fix the problem.
Since then. The mini-games shown in the ads existed but were rare and appeared only at distant levels. Playrix made them appear earlier and more often after the ruling.
